Standard Leather Care

Ceramic Coating for Leather
For owners who want lasting protection, we apply a professional-grade ceramic coating to all leather surfaces — seats, door panels, armrests, and steering wheels.
What It Does
The SiO2-based coating bonds to the leather surface in a single layer, forming a protective film that:
- Repels liquids and oils on contact
- Blocks dye transfer from dark clothing (jeans, bags)
- Shields against UV exposure and surface fading
- Resists abrasion on high-wear areas like seat bolsters and piping
- Makes surfaces significantly easier to clean
What It Does Not Do
The coating does not change the texture, appearance, or feel of your leather. It cures to a natural matte finish that is invisible once applied.

Up to 18 months with normal use. We recommend a conditioning clean before reapplication.
Why Standard Leather Waxes Are Not Enough
Many products marketed for leather care are designed to "feed" the leather. Modern automotive leather, however, uses synthetic fat liquors that do not evaporate — meaning these products are not absorbed and instead sit on the surface, attracting dirt that acts as an abrasive over time.
A ceramic coating cures onto the surface rather than sitting on top, providing genuine long-term protection rather than short-lived surface coverage.

How often should I condition leather?
Every 3–6 months for standard conditioning. The ceramic coating option provides protection for up to 18 months before a top-up is needed.
Why do leather car seats crack and fade?
The most common causes are UV exposure, cabin heat buildup, friction on high-contact areas like seat bolsters, body oils and dirt grinding into the surface, and the use of harsh cleaners. Can cracked or faded leather seats be fixed?

Does the ceramic coating change how the leather looks or feels?
No. It leaves a natural matte finish that does not alter the texture or appearance of the leather.
