Why Ceramic Coating?

Important Clarity

Ceramic coating is not scratch protection. While coated paint can show improved surface resistance compared to bare paint, improper washing, rough handling, or physical contact can still create swirls and scratches.

Hydrophobic Performance

Water beading can make rinsing and drying easier, and many owners find routine washing simpler on a coated car. That said, mineral deposits can still dry on the surface and create water spots if the vehicle is not dried properly.

UV & Oxidation Protection

Kerala's intense tropical sun degrades unprotected paint through UV oxidation, causing fading and dullness. Ceramic coating can help reduce that effect over time and support better gloss retention with proper maintenance.

Chemical Resistance

Ceramic coating resists chemicals from pH 2 to pH 12 (pH 14 for Ultra Plus), protecting against acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, and industrial fallout.

Entry-level ceramic coating. Ideal for vehicles being sold soon, or owners wanting a taste of ceramic technology before committing to a longer warranty tier.

Ceramic Guard — 2-3 Years

Our standard ceramic coating for daily drivers. Built around easier maintenance, gloss retention, and a 2-3 year package window with proper care.

Ceramic Ultra — 3-5 Years *(Most Popular)*

Dual-layer, IR-cured ceramic coating with full paint correction. The most popular choice for long-term owners wanting the best value-to-protection ratio in Trivandrum.

Ceramic Ultra Plus — Up to 9 Years (Self-Healing)

Our flagship ceramic tier. Uses 10H composite ceramic with self-healing properties, CSIRO-tested chemical resistance up to pH 14, and Multi-Cure Layer Technology for up to 9 years of protection.

Application Process

Every ceramic coating at TAS includes: 1. Full decontamination wash and clay bar treatment 2. Paint correction (light to full, depending on tier) 3. IPA panel wipe-down for maximum adhesion 4. Ceramic coating application panel by panel 5. IR curing between layers 6. Final inspection and care guide
